    We stayed for 4 days. Wish it had been longer. We had no idea the lake was going to be so beautiful. The photos on the websites do not do it justice. Also the photos of the cabins do not do them justice. The cabin was roomy and comfortable. The owners are very friendly. The two best restaurants are right next door. The lake and cabins are about 15 miles outside of Bayfield. You can easily get to Durango from the cabin. It was less expensive to stay here than Durango and it was a good base to go to Silverton, Ouray, and Pagosa Springs. It is very peaceful here. …..[read more]

    We stayed in rustic Cabin #4 at Lone Wolf Cabins. Everything was clean and comfortable for our three generations.
